First Adam began in Spirit, finished in flesh, how did the last Adam do ??

Adam was not born of a woman. He was born of God. God formed him out of dust and breathed his breath into him and there he received God’s Spirit because the Spirit in a man is the breath of the Almighty (Job 32:8). So, Adam began in Spirit. He communed with God daily, walked hand in hand with him. God and Adam had an unbroken companionship because Adam remained in Spirit while he was in his body. To be in communion with God, one must remain in Spirit because God himself is a Spirit (John 4:24).

When he ate the luscious apple which was a delight to his eyes (Genesis 3:6) from the forbidden tree, by way of obeying satan, he fell from the spiritual realm and fell to his flesh. This was his spiritual death. When Adam and Eve heard the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, they ran for cover and hid themselves among the trees in the garden (Gen 3:8). When God asked him, where are you (Gen 3:9), he was afraid to face him because those who are in the flesh cannot please God (Rom 8:8). He couldn’t cope with Eden anymore. He was a misfit there. He became an outcast instantly. So, God cast him out of the land of blessings because those who want to please their flesh cannot live there. So, Adam and his descendants lost the privilege to be in the garden of Eden.

Jesus the last Adam (1 Cor 15:45) was born of a woman. He began in flesh. He came through Mary into this world like any other man or woman because the Word had to become flesh (John 1:1). Yet he lived his life in the Spirit realm. He cautioned people against flesh realm for He said, the Spirit gives life and flesh is of no use (John 6:63). Paul says that the first man Adam became a living being and the last Adam a life-giving Sprit (1 Cor 15:45). John the Baptist commented about Jesus that, this is He who baptizes with Holy Spirit (John 1:33). In a nutshell, Jesus came to place us back in the Spirit realm.

First Adam began in Spirit and landed in Flesh. The last Adam began in flesh and landed in the Spirit. The first Adam took us out of the Spirit realm, the last Adam has restored us back.

When we accept Jesus as your Savior, we are reinstated into the Spirit realm. Now we can enjoy uninterrupted communion with God if we choose to remain in this realm.

Theory Vs Truth

  Science is full of theories. Dictionary defines theory as an explanation of how things work. To cite an example, the famous chemist Dalton  said in his theory of atoms that an atom is indivisible. That was Dalton's explanation of an atom.  Today this theory is taken out of the text books. An atom is considered to be having subatomic particles. This theory would hold till it is proven otherwise.  So a theory may or may not be true and is expected to lead us to the truth.   Lets look at some of the famous theories such as   Theory of gravity, Theory of relativity, Theory of evolution...and so forth. We do not call them the truth of gravity, truth of relativity or truth of evolution. Answer to the famous query of Jesus, which is easier, to heal the sick or forgive the sins?

  One of those days, Jesus was preaching. A great crowd surrounded the house where he preached from. The pharisees and teachers of the law came from far and wide to hear him, even from Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with him to heal (Luke 5:17). Suddenly four men lowered a paralyzed man through the roof and landed him in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, Jesus said, "Man, your sins are forgiven." The scribes and the teachers of the law were shocked to the core. According to them, sins could only be forgiven by God and one could obtain it only by sacrificing an animal as a sin offering in the temple. The paralyzed man had not even moved a finger to secure his forgiveness. So they declared this act of Jesus as sheer blasphemy.
